- We know Superman since 1938, when we met him for the first time in Action Comics #1.
- It's obvious that Superman is something special - he is celebrating his birthday on February 29th.
- There was Superman Broadway Musical in 1966 called It's a Bird It's a Plane It's Superman.
- One of the most known Superman was Christopher Reeve. He played Superman in the first four Superman movies and so did Margot Kidder as Lois Lane. In 1995 Christopher Reeve had very unfortunate accident when he was riding a horse - he felt off and has been paralysed from his neck down.

- We could watch TV series Clark and Lois for four years, from 1993 until 1997. There were 88 episodes and the main characters were played by Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher (today we know her as one of Desperate Housewives).
- Henry Cavill played Superman in The Man of Steel and Amy Adams played Lois Lane. But there were many other actors and actresses considered to play them like Zack Efron, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis.
- Ben Affleck was one of the possible directors and Russel Crowe played Superman's father Jor-El.
- The first Superman movie earned 300 million dollars since the premiere in 1978. The last Superman movie, The Man Of Steel, earned more than 650 million dollars worldwide in less than three months (it earned 116 million dollars in the opening weekend.)
- Superman has a super cousin too - that's Supergirl. She got her own movie in 1984 and Helen Slater played her.
- We can still buy 1938 Action Comics #1 and other comic books with Superman on eBay and Amazon. and how much do they cost? They cost from few dollars and up to thousand dollars.
