Baby Homemade Halloween Costumes

Baby homemade Halloween costumes can be really fun and unique, but sometimes we just need few ideas first.

On this page you can find few ideas for costumes which you can easily make at home. That way you will not have to spend a lot of money for costume, because you can use stuff you already have at home. And you can make matching costume for yourself too.

Pacifier

If your baby is still very small you can simply give him or her funny looking Halloween pacifier and add funny Halloween bib.

Ballerina

Just make a little tutu dress in pink and you'll have a cute little ballerina. Add a white or pink jumpsuit and I thing that's  enough for little baby.

Clown

This is really simple costume, baby can wear colorful jumpsuit and shoes or socks in different colors. You can add on some simple make-up like red nose or something.

Bunny or Puppy 

Dress the baby in jumpsuit in white or yellow or whatever color you want, it can be pink, grey or brown too. On the hood or baby cap you can sew on bunny or puppy ears. If you want to make a dalmatian costume you can add spots - you can sew them on or draw them with black marker.

Spider

To make a spider costume for baby just sew four or six extra legs - two or three on each side, it depends what kind of socks will your baby wear, because spider has eight legs all together. You can stuff socks with extra cloth and sew them on to shirt or jumpsuit.

Little Bee

Make a yellow and black tutu and matching shirt and stockings - they can be yellow or black.

Superman or Superwoman

Dress your little baby in blue jumpsuit, add some red cape - you can buy a piece of red cloth or use your old red shirt. You can find sign S for Superman on Openclipart page (page with public domain clip art) and put it oh the blue shirt (sew it on or glue it).

Little Red Riding Hood

For the Little Red Riding Hood costume you can use red cap or hood, red shirt and skirt or tutu, red stockings and you already have cute little costume.

Ladybug

For Ladybug costume just draw or sew black dots on red shirt, add red skirt or tutu and put on black socks. For little baby you can just dress her in red outfit and add crocheted red hat with black spots. It's really easy to make crocheted Ladybug hat, you can find a lot of free instructions online (here is one for start).
